Foin Cyber Security is a specialized department, Switzerland. This technology project strives to protect businesses against various information threats. Our mission is to make the Internet a safe space for business.

The 21st century has given this world opportunities that our predecessors could not even dream of… communications, innovation, business without borders and many other advantages. However, every blessing has its curse. Whilst business pioneers are investing years of their lives and hundreds of thousands of dollars in startups and trust-building in new market zones, there is a super-fast increasing number of individuals and entities that are ready to bring down practically any project for a relatively little money. Regrettably, as of today, the “scam” label became a common tendency in the crypto market. Of course, this leads to a shadow market regulation and most entrepreneurs have no idea how to deal with it. In most cases, there is simply nobody who can be brought to justice. Classic business security methods cannot provide predictable results. That being the case, we took the chance of establishing a technoscientific unit that would be capable of actively defending against various manifestations of unfair competition.

Information security today is not just a trend, it is a demand of the market. Like many other players in the market, we frequently confronted defamation, paid-for material, and black PR, which usually ends in financial extortion for stopping the Information Attack. In our opinion, it is unacceptable to temporize with such a crime. A sense of impunity and permissiveness breeds monsters that can destroy entire businesses. It is time to fight back against such information threats. What we have created is not simply a specialized unit in the field of information security, but an institute that develops new methods of protecting businesses against such threats at all times. This project unites like-minded people and professionals who can protect our business, regardless of the country where the attack comes from. We are convinced that today’s market lacks such services.

Over the past 15 years, crime has heavily infiltrated the Internet under various forms. The digital world easily hides traces of crime through fakes, IP spoofing; no fingerprints, no voices which makes it a perfect space to engage in criminal activities and get away with it. When you fight against illegal operations that are committed on the Internet every single day, sometimes it seems that you are fighting against advanced and audacious phantoms. We have to progress on a daily basis and expand both technical and technological equipment to succeed. It is a difficult job, even in case you manage to find out a perpetrator of a criminal act, identities of intermediaries and ordering customer. In 95% of cases, such tasks remain unsolved. This unfortunate statistic forces us to monitor innovations very dynamically and to continually increase the competence of our employees. At the same time, our goal remains the same – prevention or elimination of the consequences of various information attacks.

In an increasingly globalized world, everything happens so fast that even progressive and dynamic countries lag behind in developing effective methods at the legislative level to combat cybercrimes and information attacks. Most commonly, state system starts moving towards change hardly after a series of glaring precedents. However, representatives of business, political or social environment do not have time to wait. Consequences of information onslaught might be fatal for them or their professional pursuits. We regularly monitor and keep track of developments in the United States, Canada, EU countries including some Eastern European countries such as Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Several groups of our departments monitor changes in legislation that correlate with the digital world. Our goal is to continuously monitor changes, search for potential threats and new opportunities for our customers and partners. We use a scientific approach in analysis, which makes it possible to develop unique solutions that prevent and eliminate various threats in the information space. Our representatives and associates regularly participate in OSCE summits and conferences. Also, we consult with specialists from Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other international bodies. I believe that such collaboration and joining efforts to find far-reaching solutions is a necessity of today’s business world.
